Our agents have been carefully selected with a key focus on their expertise, enthusiasm, love for the industry and a genuine care for helping people find their perfect property.

David Bevan - Managing Director
David founded Number One Property Management with Cole in the summer of 2020. His mission was to simultaneously help optimise return on investment for his clients, while providing a smoother improved customer experience. He did this by hiring a team of passionate, authentic property professionals who would offer a best in class service. David has been delighted to see the team grow and evolve and is proud of how each member of the team all have different strengths and add different values to the business.
Cole Calzaghe - Director
Cole co-founded Number One Property Management with David in the summer of 2020. His passion for property and commercial skills have played a significant part in the growth Number One has experienced in such a short space of time. Cole prides himself on his local market knowledge and makes himself very available to help his clients develop knowledge, skills and strategy in property investment.
Emma Darlow - Lettings Manager
Emma runs a tight ship as Number One Property Management’s lettings manager. Her exceptional organisational skills and long lists help us keep on top of lettings operations and regularly changing legislation, ensuring our clients are fully protected and compliant. In her spare time Emma is devoted to her family and rarely likes to sit down!
Owen Hooper - Senior Operations Manager
Owen manages our facilities management contracts and is studying for his ARMA qualification to enhance our technical offering to clients. Owen brings great warmth, energy and enthusiasm to the office and is a born problem-solver.
Melissa Williams - Maintenance Co-Ordinator
Melissa works closely with our landlords, tenants and our selected contractors. Her professional approach ensures she delivers optimal results for all parties no matter what the property maintenance issue is.
Melissa has a passion for development and knowledge keeps her consistently on top of legislation changes within the property management area. Melissa is an animal lover through and through and just about to embark on her own first property renovation!
David Block - Viewing Agent
David undertakes the majority of our viewings, listings and inspections. Ensuring pre-tenancy marketing is carried out to the best standard and checking that property standards are maintained throughout a tenancy.
In David’s spare time he creates digital art and is learning to animate!
Gemma West - Lettings Coordinator
Gemma is our longest serving team member, bringing with her a wealth of property management knowledge. As our valuing agent, she’s likely to be the first member of the team you will speak with and will advise Landlords how to achieve their maximum rental potential and prepare the property with regarding the ever-changing compliance regulations.
Gemma is our resident ‘adrenaline junkie’ but when she’s not jumping out of airplanes or deep-water diving, she’s walking her dogs in the Brecon Beacons.
Emily Jones - Lead Site Management Administrator
Emily is responsible for service charges and finances at the sites under our Management.
Hailing from Baltimore, USA where she initially worked in property management. Moving to Wales in 2017, we’ve had the pleasure of her company in Number One since 2021. Emily is very process driven and regularly

Jessica Gething
Jess joined Number One in August 202, supporting Cole in the commercial area by seeking and agreeing new business. Jess plays a critical role in Number One’s continued rapid growth.
Claire Grant - Financial Controller
Claire’s tireless works ethic, drive for binary perfection, coupled with her calm persona and fantastic people skills make her a great financial leader.
A finance specialist Claire is responsible for Number One’s holistic finances. Having worked in property industry finance for 20 years knows the ins and outs of everything and is an integral part of Number One’s optimised organisational setup.
